Thank you, I am going back on Monday for a tiny unfill! This is really uncomfortable. And my stomach feels really swollen and gasy -

I had my second fill on June 14 th. I am on Clear liquids and find that if I take more than a baby sip, it hurts like hell. I am three days in and decided to have some watermelon. The pain in my chest is horrible and the slime is really gross. I am having trouble drinking a whole glass of Water during the day. Any advice, I think maybe my band is too tight. -
Hi I was banded on Feb 6, 2010 and wanted to know if anyone has a clue when it is safe to start ab workouts without hurting your band position and myself.

how soon after being banded to start ab workout?

No, I am not wearing anything. But I do hear from some of my friends who have been banded that they wear the spanks tshirt or a girdle while on the treadmill to minimize the jiggle and bounce. -
how soon after being banded to start ab workout?

Thanks everyone. I have actually been quite active approx. 2 weeks after my surgery have been doing, 30 min on the treadmill at least 4 times per week as well as the occasional bike ride. I asked this week and I was told by my doctor that as long as it doesn't hurt my stomach during and I don't have problems after, I can do some strength training. So for the past two days I have been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred. Good luck to all the bandsters. Exercise is important but don't overdo it. If you feel uncomfortable in your stomach at all whilst exercising STOP! -
Exercising post lapband- ab workouts

Hi all, I was banded on Feb 6, 2010. I wanted to know if anyone knows when I can start doing some light ab workouts in my routines?? Any info or suggestions are very welcome. My weightloss has stagnated and since surgery I have only lost 16 lbs and 17 inches. I want to kick it up a notch with the exercise and really want to tone. Thanks -

Thank you for your answers everyone. I guess my terminology was not the best, I am not stagnated (I need to stop comparing myself with others' weight loss. I am more concerned with inches than the weight as muscle is heavier than all that fat that I am carrying. I am going to start the 30 day shred by Jillian Micheals and see how that works for me. (I did call my dr office and they said as long as it doesn't hurt than to do it). You guys are all awesome on this! -
A Quick Hello to this wonderful forum!

I just wanted to say a quick hello. And to thank this site for being here for all of the past, present and future bandsters. It is a fantastic resource. It took me about 2 years to finally make the decision to get banded and I am extremely happy I did. I already feel healthier and look better. I am looking forward to this lifelong journey to regain my health and my "hot bod" lol.:smile2: -

Visible port?????/
L_A_U_R_E_L_I replied to Bell1138's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi There, You should have actually had your port moved behind your belly button when they did the tummy tuck, it would have saved you money and you wouldn't have to worry about the port being visible anymore (you can still have it filled but would really need to make sure they use flouroscopy when doing it).
