thanks for all of the great advice. i do think i went to work too soon, i am going to try and lay it a little lower the rest of the week. i know my boyfriend is basically panicing cuz i am not wanting to down all of the protein stuff. i am drinking one protein shake a day hopefully that will be enough...

Hang in there. This is such a mental thing, if we can get through this part just think of the end result... Yeah.. I am on day 3 of liquids.. I am not hungry and my headaches are very minimal now. much better so i see a light at the end of tunnel. Ill send good thoughts your way!:confused:

My doctor says that the typical wt loss is 70%. Does that sound right to everyone?

I had abdominioplasty surgery 2 years ago. I keep thinking my stomach is going to hurt worse in the healing process because of this. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice? my surgery is 10 days away..

OMG i am soo frustrated with my insurance. Priority Health. I have had my doctor submit my claims to them two times and they denied both. My last resort was to find out if I have sleep apnea then they would cover my surgery. I went today to sleep doctor and did find out i have sleep apnea, right away called my doctor who then called my insurance,,, and they still will not cover it unless I am actually hooked up to a pap machine.. Out of ideas.. I cant believe how strict Priority Health is on this issue. Anyone else have any advice on what route to try next..?? I am not afraid of the mexico idea , i am afraid to tell my family, i know they would be scared for me. UGGGG

I sent an email to his office yesterday and still have not heard back. I am trying to decide who to go to for the sleeve. does anyone know if it usually takes a while to hear back from his office? or his pricing? thanks

I really want to have the gastric sleeve done and want to know how to go about finding a reputable doctor that is less expensive since i will have to pay out of my pocket. How did you decide to go elsewhere? thanks:confused:

I am new to this. went to orientation here in MI, was told this was a very simple process , almost all insureance companies will cover this. they sent in my paperwork to insurance and I found out today Priority Health denied me. I have not even talked to my PCP about this.. what is my next step. very anxious to get started. any advice helpful please.
