Hi I am new to this forum but found you as you are in Ireland (I am UK) and I was interested in surgery in Belgium. Perhaps you could kindly tell me how you found your surgeon and what the cost was (if you dont mind) and how successful it has been? I have read a lot of your posts and it all sounds fine but just would like a few further details before considering the surgery abroad. I am seeing a consultant in the UK this week but think the cost over here is over ?8,000 so looking to see what sort of difference there would be if I went abroad? Also what sort of timescale was there from initial consult to operation? Sorry to bombard with questions but would love to have info to help me on my quest to actually get back to a size 14. Have suffered fat 30's and 40's and now in my fifties am determined to actually enjoy life again. Many thanks for your time. Melanie.
