Sandy - your trip to the country with DH & Charlie sounded like a delightful visit. Know my puppy would love all those new smells. Yes, I have a son (& family) and grandson (& family) there in Guam. Will be my third visit and lucky to have two birthdays to Celebrate while I'm there.

Apples - great to see you back here. Seems like you were gone forever. I'll take your support with me to Guam, and feel, after the fill, my choices will take me back to the right track. The hotel has room service and I discovered in Florida and Las Vegas that the right items are available for we banders (when traveling). pacificislandclub.com BTW - I bought my first Coach bag yesterday. Love it. Had planned to check them out in LV, but didn't work out. Needed just the right size and color for Guam. LauraK - we love hearing about a new man in your life. I went shopping yesterday and today and spent too much money - but was wearing an outfit I've not had on for 4 years. Kimberly - we are the same age and are having similar problems dedicating ourselves to our program. Why did we choose the band??? Relative to exercising - I started out walking my puppy one block and added a block a week. Now we can easily go 12 blocks in 20 minutes. HE EXPECTS IT. And I won't disappoint him. Add a little each week. And - I'm tackling one meal at a time. protein/vegetables My mantra. How long since you have seen your doctor??? Do you need a fill???

Julie - Congrats on great new drivers license picture. I must confess, I weight on DL is desired weight. Highway patrol would never identify me by my license. lolol

Janet - I'm sure you told me about NO DIET - I was probably not ready to hear/digest it. Oprah says, "When we know better, we do better." Very busy, stress-filled day today. You don't want to hear it, believe me. Great food choices for Breakfast and lunch - then starving (physically & emotionally) for dinner. Was able to eat a whole bowl of chicken chili and a salad. Have appt for fill next week - then lots more stress before I leave for Guam. I can do this.

Janet - thanks for the list of tips regarding new life style -- love the reference to omitting DIET from our language and thinking. Karen - hugs on 3 hr. dental appt - thank God only one remaining. Your teeth look wonderful. Arlene - way to go on exercise. You inspire me. TXR - the pre-op is challenging. After day 3 it became easier for me. You are dedicated to this change, easy to see. Karen - please list that PB substitute again. I'll buy it on Amazon, with your recommendation. Julie - good luck with doctor today. Jodi - sorry you had to miss your exercise, but your time giving that mom a chance to eat while you stayed with her son in hospital, is priceless. Karen - forgot to mention, great shopping for skinny jeans and boots. Bet you look sexy in them.

Julie - enjoy your time in salon and new hair color. Lori - how about a massage today. That always gives me such a peaceful feeling. Glad your pictures arrived. Had a wonderful evening with DGD and hubby last night. Dinner: 2 oz. steak and asparagus - then salad. yum

Tiger - I'll be there too on the 19th for a fill. dm5201 - since you are hungry between meals, I'm sure it's time for another fill. Are you drinking during meals?? Eat protein first, then vegetables. Omit sugars and check what your total calories for the day are. Are you keeping a food journal? That might help too. Good luck to you.

Jodi - loved your newsy post. After spending time with you, I feel your energy, as I read about your life. Such a loving mother and gentle spirit. Karen - good luck with your storage project for DS. Our DS will be coming from Nevada later this month, and altho we didn't share their stories, I feel we will help them in the same ways. LauraK - 4 pm date will be interesting. All of us married gals enjoy hearing about them. Time to get busy. Enjoyed the park yesterday - might have to go back.

Welcome, Lisa. We are all here to support you. This is a journey toward health and renewed self confidence. The band is a tool, but you need to follow doctors orders and be patient. It requires life changes, but it works. You can do it.

Karen - I strongly agree. Sad, but true, that we have to monitor our posts. I also agree, that managing my own life is a full time job for me. On a lighter note, re: white tailed deer - after all the weight you lost, you don't make a good target. Combined with the speed you can run, those hunters better just leave you alone. lolol Has anyone received their pix of LV yet? Hope they arrive today in the mail.
