Hi everyone, I have been reading alot of posts on this forum, but this is my first time posting. I am having my surgery on Monday 2/1/10 and I am starting to get really nervous. I have my final pre-surgery dr. visit on Monday 1/25 and am so worried that I haven't lost weight or that I will actually have gained. My surgeon has a requirement that you absolutely cannot gain any weight from your last visit or your surgery will be canceled. He also requires you show a loss, not a set amount, just a loss. My last visit was in December and I had lost 12 lbs. from my early November appointment and right now I think(if my scale is correct) I am down 7 more. I start my liquid diet tomorrow and I am really hoping I have lost enough weight and don't somehow gain any by Monday. I guess I am just looking to hear from others who have been through the same thing and hoping to hear you encouraging stories. Have any of you actually had your surgery canceled or rescheduled because you gained weight? I am just so excited to finally get this done and now that it is so close I am so scared something is going to screw it up.
