Now that I have had my TT I can see way down yonder. It looks like a camels foot. There is also vacany where the hair used to be. Kind of looks like I need an upsweep like the balding guys do. Poor little thing, used to be firm and tight-just like its mother. Fran

Hi Cheryl, My doctor is not very talkative, and I am kind of passive and do not ask a lot of questions. I do not know if I have had muscle repair. Did you have your thighs done, and if so was that painful. I am just very upset at the scale going up. I am eating great and not using junk at all. Thank you and be well. Fran:redface:

Hi Tami, Thank you for your answer. I am out 10 days now, the drains are out, but the scale is up and I have not eaten anything to make it do so. The surgeon is not very talkative and just says it will level out? Where will the excess weight go? He said the lab reported removing 5 lbs. of skin-isn't that an instant weight loss? Julie, did you have instant weight loss after surgery? I had my TT Upstate N.Y. in Goshen on March 26th. and I think I gained a few pounds. The surgeon, Dr. Winski, says this is okay it will level out-WHEN? Thank you. Be well. Fran

I was told by three surgeons that there is always a large scar that runs down the area where the arms are "done" Also, I am glad I did the TT but am scared about any more surgery. I would love my thighs done, but need some time to recuperate from this. Be well and good luck. Fran

I had my tummy tuck 9 days ago and today the drains came out. It was not so bad, and I cannot wait to see the results. A lot of swelling and itching, but the price of beauty does not come cheap!! Banded 08/06 and lost 120 pounds. The surgeon said the lab weighed what he removed and it was 5 pounds. Be well all. Fran

There is chocolate Dip that is sugar free and claims to have zero calories that helps me a lot. It is made by Walden Farms and I usually find it near or about the produce section of Shop Rite. It is not easy to come by but well worth the search. I add it to yogurt, coffee, fruit, etc. and it is good. There seems to be nothing bad in it but who knows-cannot read the words anyway-HA HA It is very enjoyable and I hope you find it and enjoy it too. Be well. Fran

I used to drink Diet-Coke for breakfast and have not touched it since my surgery August 31, 2006. You too will give it up-the idea of having too is the worst part. I wish you well. Fran

Hi Karey, I had my tt four days ago and I hurt. It is not a pain, but a burning and sometimes a pulling/itchy feeling. I also have drains-DOUBLE YUCKY!! How long before I feel like normal? Be well. Fran

I had my lap band on a Wed. and went back to work on Monday. I do childcare also in peoples houses and had no problem.Be well Fran

Hi Julie, The pain was not bad at all and I did not take anything for it. I would rather have some pain then the after effects of the medication. I had the surgery on Wed. and went back to work today, SUnday. I am a little nuts, but I felt fine enough to do so. The only draw back are the drains-UCH> Be well and let me know how your tt goes. I am so very happy for you. I know the feeling. I went from a size 22/24 to a 12/14. 115 pounds since August 30, 2006. It is a wonderful feeling, and to me it made me feel "normal" Such a thrill to not have that Lane Giant shadow-lol. Be well and continued success. Fran

Do not worry-you will soon adjust to the band. I loved ice cream but gave it up. It will go down easily, but it is not the best as far as nutrition, etc. Bad habit and hard to break. Be well. Fran

I have a very dear friend who stopped calling me and does not return my phone calls after I lost 102 pounds. Perhaps the friendship is not what I thought it was. Fran

Both GHI and UHC in New York turned me down. I self paid, and although it was tough, I am down 102 pounds since August 31, 2006 and am glad I did this. I now have an attorney for an appeal. Do it and you will not be sorry. Be well. Fran

Wow-- I too have a great husband who could do without the physical intimacy. It has been a long time, and it hurts but what if a man is very physical and not a good husband. I miss sex, and now that I cannot replace it with food, it is harder. Be well all. Fran
