I have had a problem with my weight most of my adult years. Being the age of 74 I do have some health issues that weight loss would help me with these problems. When I found out that most insurance would cover the lap band surgery I started checking out the doctors. I weighed 196, had surgery on Nov. 17th 09 My weight now is 170. However, this past month I felt a bit depressed as I thought I should have lost more. I have not had any fill at all yet. I see Dr. K next week and will talk about the fill. I see on these posts that most have had many fills since surgery, one I read had a fill once a month for about 4 months. I am totally confused about the fills at this point. Over all, I am very pleased with my surgery, I have not had any problems that I have read about or heard about. I guess just a bit anxious to get this weight off. My goal is 140 so I now have 30 lbs to go.
