I am a military spouse, currently in the process of being approved for LapBand surgery.  The next couple of weeks for me include many appointments in order to prepare for my surgeons appointment on February 5th.  Unfortunately my husband is scheduled to deploy for 1 year in March.  There are many changes ahead in my future which makes me very excited but also nervous.  I look forward to reading the stories of others in order to be inspired and also to possibly learn from others mistakes (Hopefully not the case!)  I am grateful that the base that I currently live on has an excellent bariatric program that provides guidance from pre surgery to post op!
