Ok i am not alone then. I was banded on Jan 14th, 2010 and I have been on solid foods now this is my 2nd week or so and I have been hungry all the time. I am not gaining any weight I think cause I am exercisiing!!! But it is awful. You want to eat healthy but its hard too!!!

Then you are not ready! I was the same way a year ago when my sister had the surgery done. There was absolutely no way no how I was going to get the surgery done. Then I started to see the weight loss and was suprised by what she could actually eat and I said thats it. I am tired of being heavy and I am never going to change my way so I might as well get some help! I was banded on jan 14th, 2010 and so far it is the best decision I have ever made. I am down 32 lbs and feel GREAT! Good luck with your decision. Only you know if you are ready for this. I have 5 people in my life who have had it done so I know I can do it!

try eating a snack in between. I am on the same stage as you. I was banded on Jan 14th! I am just finishing up my pureed/soft foods. right now I do a protein shake or carnation instant breakfast around 8-9 then 10-10:30 I have a sugar free pudding or 1/2 cup of cottage cheese then around 1 I have lunch then around 3-330 i have another snack then i have dinner. that really cuts down on my hunger pains. at first i was having bad hunger pains, now it doesnt bother me. Just make sure you are eating every few hours. Dont just do your 3 square meals a day!!!

When you drink a shake just tell yourself its your rare steak & potatoes!!! I did it...you can do it! I have no will power, but when you are ready for the surgery you can put your mind to it.
