I am happy with my success so far. I often think about how my life has changed in six months. I know that I would have probably gained a few pounds by now if I hadn't had the surgery so I'm grateful for any weightloss even when it has it's slow moments.

I understand that it is not uncommon to have a lot of gas. I believe that air is pumped into your stomach during the banding procedure (confirm with doc). It will go away (that was a joke:)
You must drink plenty of water. Take small sips and keep a bottle of water handle. Everyone recovers at different speeds, but you should feel a better everyday..

Morning noel,yes the surgery went great!!! N i give god all the praises..however,i've been dealing with gas n it's killin me!!! Did u have this problem? It's been 4 days and i finally drank something...i got dehydrated n that's serious,but everytime i take a drink it hurts....do u have any suggestions? Today was the first day,that i was able to drink alot...pls help!!! N how long did u stay on liquids?? Have a blessed sunday and i hope to be hearing from u soon...thanks,ms.gwen
