Eating the wrong food
Cookie1 replied to Sunnyklydi's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Remember to eat lean protein first. It will stick with you longer and you won't be as hungry. Yogurt is a liquid. Do fat free refried beans instead? If chicken is a problem, try salmon (my fave) I don't do any shakes, only protien and some veggies....egg beaters and sausage for breakfast...good luck -

Welcome! I am pretty new too and am enjoying this a lot. Good luck to you! A -
I got on it and it would not register my weight, just kicked me out of the system and started the process over again. It will not let you proceed if you are over 330. I understand that the wii fit plus weight limit is higher.

I have it too, and have used a bipap (help breathing in and out) for 2.5 years now. I love the way I feel when I get up and am not bothered by the mask (I am a side sleeper and have one to accomodate that). I did hate the sleep study but my oxygen was going as low as 73% at night and at 70% the brain can be damaged! And its so hard on our hearts....heart disease is the #1 killer of women......overall you will feel like a million bucks! Hang in there!

I had surgery on Dec 22, 2009 and this site has helped so much! This is my first posting. Lets see......4 weeks out and I am doing well.....am really trying to work through the mental part of all of this....don't get me wrong....I have tried for years! I do have a great support team, friends, a dietician and most importantly, my husband.....I work out 5 days a week (I have since 8 months before surgery) and I follow the rules to the 't'. My biggest fear is loosing my hair.... since it is so thin naturally. I look forward to learning from you guys and to having you with me on my journey.
