I have been overweight for a great deal of my adult life.  It seems that I am one who has used food for comfort and with every trauma my fridge and I became closer and closer.  I'm really sad that it has taken me this long to really take charge of my life.  Yes, I've tried everything from Nutrisystem to WW to Atkins, and have lost weight, but never permanently. I chose Lapband (with the support of my wonderfully supportive husband Ron, over GB because it is reversable.  After three weeks of lapband surgery I'm tickled with the results.  My first fill will be February 2nd.
