I have thought long and hard about the LapBand as an option... I have Prayed about it and spent many sleepless nights wondering if I could or sholud do this... I have finally come to the point of acceptance. I have dieted on and off for most of my life, never feeling comfortable in my own skin... looking around me and wishing I could look like most others! I have researched the surgical options and always come back to the LapBand! My insurance has a few prequalifications that Iwll have to meet(and I have met all but one at this point). I finally took the first step and phoned the insurance company to verify coverage as well as scheduled my appointment to meet with the surgeon! I have my first appointment on Jan. 29th and I am so excited! I know that because of insurance purposes it will be a few more months before I can actually have the procedure but I will take this journey with a smile!
