Ten years ago I moved to the city and started working full time. I weighed 124 pounds I have 3 children and had lost all my weight from my third child and was ready to take on the move to another city. I met my husband and was remarried. He and I have been married for 7 years. During the past 10 years however, I have gained 100 pounds. I first tried Nutri System because that is how I lost weight with 2 of my pregancies. I tried it 3 different times and only lost 12 pounds (all together). So, I joined a gym and hired a fitness trainer all the while seeing a nutriciantis; I gained 20lbs on their program.My husband and I went to a weight loss seminar and were hypnotized and I had to have the CD's. I lost 0 lbs on this rip off.  I have been to 2 different doctors that have prescribed diet pills, I lost 10 lbs each time but gained it back plus another 10 each time also.I had a hysterectomy and had to have everything removed. Great-- I just new with all the bad stuff out I would feel great and have my life back and be able to live again... NOPE!!! So, I tried 2 different doctors with bio-identical hormones.  I was so up and down I can't really say if I lost or gained...I made a 3 month stab a weight watchers and lost 3 pounds. As a last resort and giving the diet pills , southbeach/atkins diet try with a loss of 8 lbs in 4 months I decided to look into the lap-band surgery.
