I started my 6 month physician diet in Jan 2009. I maintained my weight and got approved for surgery in September 2009. I saw the Psychiatrist and dietician in October 2009. I received the surgery the 26th of October 2009. The first couple weeks were difficult and you really get tired of the liquids. After I survived that, everything else has been great.
