Hi everyone, I had 5 ml fill (1st fill in a 10ml band) a week ago. I'm doing ok, no PBs but also not much restriction just me trying hard. I've lost 7kg in 6 weeks. Not brilliant but steady and gone forever! In some ways this is easier than I expected, but in other ways not as successful as I'd hoped. i think I've got used to having a band really well. It is not an issue at all. I have trouble working out when to drink the Water. I can actually drink, not skull, water easily but am waiting at least an hour after eating. I too, Anna, am getting hungry quite soon after eating. I can't get a fill till January! All in all, I'm happy with it all really. Anne from Albany

Hi Anna, I am still waiting for my first fill-hopefully this Sunday at my next review. I am struggling with hunger still but mostly winning the battle. I am hoping that a bit of fill will start the full feeling. I have lost 5kg in 5 weeks, so that's not bad. Have to stop focussing on weight loss and just be happy. Did you go back on liquids after your fill? I have so many mushy meals in the freezer that I haven't used, I won't mind havig to go backwards occasionally, just to use them up! Anne from Albany

Delicious and high protein!!! In my local health food store I recently got some Ladybird brand Protein pwder in White chocolate flavour. Yum as it is, or with blended fruit. As an experiment, I mixed it with yogurt in the morning and left it until lunchtime to eat at work. It had thickened and tasted like cheesecake. SO DELICIOUS! DETAILS- Ladybird All Natural supplements Women's whey Isoflavone Enriched Protein- White Chocolate flavour (also available in Cookies and Cream and vanilla Gelato) per serve of powder only 111 cal Protein 24.6g Carbs 1.7g Fat 0.5g Best with thick yogurt but worked okay with no fat, low sugar yogurt, just runnier. Thanks for your concern. I'm doing really well. I saw my surgeon on Sunday last. He wasn't concerned about the bruising. Didn't actually get into discussing them. They are slowly fading. Only the center one is still quite coloured.

:clap2: :wow2: That's what I want, and I only just realised it, when I read those words. For too long I have been obsessed by the numbers, kg, calories, clothes sizes etc. I want to be happy with me. Thank you! Anne -
Hi to StephC, I don't know about anyone else. I shared a room with a young woman but have had no contact with her since. HarleyNana, I am concerned, but I am seeing the surgeon on Sunday. We are 41/2 hours away from each other by road, one way! o I see him for the first time in 3 days. Will show him photo as they are fading daily. Big Girl Banded- As far as I know I am healthy. I do bruise but not badly, I don't think! Usually. But they made for a great talking point when I returned to work yesterday!!! Thanks to all for your concen.

Hi everyone, I'm Anne from Albany WA. I'm booked for banding on Oct 30 in Perth with TK. Intermittently placidly accepting my upcoming new life, and panicing that I'll never be able to go through with it! I have read about everything I can find, the good and the bad. Anne not yet banded 104/104/60

Hi to all, I'm joining the losing side on October 30th. Still seems such a long way away! I'm in Albany, West Oz and will be banded in Perth. I am keeping the butterflies in my stomach flying in formation at this point, but they may scramble closer to the time... Anne from Albany
