For the last 7 years I have been thinking about getting bariatric surgery. (I don't jump into anything!) But what kind? I starting researching by looking at the pros and cons and long term succes rates. 5 years ago I started talking about getting it done. 3 years ago my daughter and I decided on the Lap Band and having it done at the same time but my out of pocket expenses were too high with the insurance I had at the time. 2 years ago Jennifer went ahead with the Lap Band and has lost 90 pounds!!! I got a job with great medical benefits and I finally said enough procrastinating!!!!! Now I am scheduled for surgery on January 18, 2010.                  Ok, I did it! January 18th, 2010! Done!
