Wilbe, Thank you so much for your post! I went out today the first time since my surgery which was a week ago tomorrow, and I felt so out of it I was light headed and dizzy. So when I got home I had to call my Dr. office regarding m appt. and they told me to go to the full liquids, and that did help, but I had too much I felt sick after having my yogurt. they said that is OK just have less next time... So tomorrow I'm going to go to work for a little while and get paperwork from the week before ( I'm a medical biller) and i can do some of that at home, since here in NY we are awaiting a snow storm on wed...The crying as pretty much as stooped

I know how you all are feeling. I havn't strated my vitmins yet monday, so i hope it will help, but i have found myself cying, and i realy do not know why, has anyone else feel this way?

I was in the same boat as you, till Today. Today nothing ! There is another thread with a lot of people with the same issue, and someone put it into the right words" liquid in and liquid out".. It gets better!!!!!!!! promise

I was banded last Tuesday and taking my meds are so hard the taste is so bad expeally the capsle ones, I take cyblata and a blood presure which are capsles and the cbalta is little balls which donot desolve well and if you open them up and place them in your mouth you take in too much liquids. so anybody with ideas please let me know

Yes take it slow, I'm 5 days out and I had taken in too much (liquids) at a time and the pain was so bad in my cheat. wow you are drinking shakes already, I have to till Wednesday till my post op appt, with the Dr.

I am 5 days post op, What causes your band to slip, I am so worried that this will happen to me, I try to do what I am told, but sometimes I'll drink too mush too fast, and I have so mush pain in my chest from it.. could this cause my bad to slip

I'm so glad I am not alone, I was worried something was wrong, I was banded 2-2-10. and it stated today and i was told it it is normal! and the other thing for me is the weak feeling, i am so tired and weak, i was got my period the day aftr surgary and i still have it, which normaly would have been gone aready.. so that as to do with it too..

I was just banded this past Tuesday and i am having a hard time sleeping on my back, I have a bad back to start with, and my Dr said to sleep only on my back, i didn't think to ask him for how long. I usually sleep on my side, has anyone have this issue??

Thank you, I was told by the Dr. office today that I could sleep on my side with pillows just as you said!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, been home now 24 hrs got home from hospital late yesterday, what a mess at the hospital, I was in the recovery room overnight, they had no beds, so there was 2 of us there, it was nice to have a nurse all to yourself, but really didn't get much sleep.they were cleaning, and making a lot of noise. Then went up to have a upper GI and than put into a room, where they really didn't help me at all.. So my over all hospital stay wasn't the greatest... Today not doing so bad just tired and a little pain in the area where they did the surgery. The gas pain was really bad that night of the surgery but it comes and goes now. But FYI to all the Women, I read alot of post about getting your period right after the surgery and it is true I got mine yesterday the day after, just be prepared for it in case.. I'm doing OK otherwise.....

I'm on the preop diet since 1/18 and I had a breakdown today, I had a big fight with my son's dad, and I ended up eating some of my son's KFC popcorn ck , and know i'm so mad at myself and scared that i reaaly messed . My sugery is next Tuesday the 2nd. Has anyone else go thru thisand if so did they cacel the sugery, or was everything ok? I didn't have my last 2 shakes in hope to balance it a little

My surgey is this coming Tuesday, I know that you are on liquids for the first 2weeks but then what? do you start tryig foods or do you back to the protien shakes?

The whole blender thing i'm not into either, I like the idea of oatmeal and cream soups. Did you make everything watered down?

I have discuessed up to the first 2 weeks, They prety much said that at my post up they will go over the 2nd part. but they already told me that I would do Bleader foods after that but i was just wondering what everyone else have done.

I'm going to CRAZY my surgery is Tuesday and I do not have to be there till 3 pm, all day no food or drinking, Nothing! I 'm going to stay up late and get up put my on the bus and then go back to sleep, hopefully that will help...
