Unfortunately I didn't qualify to have my insurance pay for the surgery bc my BMI fell short by 5 lbs, but bc of my age I didnt want to wait any longer (to gain the extra weight or wait the 6 month period insurance requires). I also really decided to go ahead with the surgery bc of the many co-morbid conditions I have (diabetes, high BP, high Chol.). So far I have been more hungry then expected, I thought I would only be able to eat a little food but would feel full. Instead I'm having a little difficulty finding out exactly what I can eat (one day I can get chicken down the next I'm throwing it up). I'm told I'm still not eating the "right foods" bc after getting sick a few times I was sticking to mostly liquids (which is why I feel hungry alot I'm told). So I'm still a work in progress, still trying to figure out exactly what will work but loving the weight loss!! No regrets!
