:drool:just a little problem i need some advice with. when i eat i do so as told. small bites chew etc but i get the need to burp and cant. when it does come up it tends to bring food with it and then more follows. does any one else have this problem? why? and what can i do about it? many thanks. matt

i dont think im to tight if any thing i need a fill. that may be the problem perhaps i have got a little over confident with my eating and going a bit to fast.

i also feel when the wind is out i can carry on eating.

hi all. i had my band fitted on the 9th jan and have lost 30 pound. i really enjoy having it most of the time. i am eating just about all i want now. really enjoying eating meat again. i had my first fill on the 27th of feb and found the following two weeks really hard. one day i could eat what i like the next nothing would go down now all of a sudden it is all fine. the only time i strugled was when i had a treat of fish and chips. i really cant handle batter. my next fill is coming up this week and i cant wait. good luck to all and keep up the good work. matt

i was smoking on the morning of my op and in the car on the way home. i was never told to stop. not sure i would have had the op if they said that. give up food and fags. i dont think so

hello all. i had my band fitted on the 9th jan this year. i have just had my first fill. i had 2 hospitals. one for the op and one for the fill both have given me info to go away with. one hospital says i cant eat meat for 3 months and the other says i shouldnt eat it for a year. what have you been told and what is your experiece of meat!

hi can any one help. i got my band fitted on the 9th jan and all is going well. enjoying having it. dont feel hungry. when i eat soup i feel full. only prob is my sholders. i know that it is normal but i dont know why. it comes and goes but when i get it it is cripling. thanks
