I 'am new to this site and I've not had the surgery done yet ,what I was doing is look for a local Dr.and not have to go to Dallas.I'am seeing a Dr's office in Dallas at Baylor,but Am looking for a Ft.Worth Dr.or at a locale Hospital.I guess I'am putting the carriage before the hourse,no bund ment.I'am not that big.I've been looking to have this done for more than 10years.At least nearilysince 2004.That's not 10years,sorry but it has seemed that long.One Dr. put Me on hold, said I could quaify for Medicare and they would have to accheve The circle of excellence that they have to have from Medicare,so I waited.People would have it done and others would say they would get Me their name and nothing,so I've been waiting.Then a Dr. asked if I had thought about it and I told Him about My waiting and kinda giving up and He refered Me to the Dr. in Dallas.Now I heard from so,eone else about a Dr. at Medical Plaza and I haven't even talked to his nurse yet.So I'll know more after I make some call's.Don't want to mess up but I could drive myself to FT.WORTH,I have to have a friend Drive Me To Dallas. So right now that's My story.I'll be 70 year's old the end of Jan.I don't feel it in Many way's but the weight is adding to my year's.Year's ago I lost 100lb over about a 3year span of time.I now have diabetes,some heart problem's,edima of the left leg.have a hard time getting around,take so many med's plus insulin and all that goes with that and the year's to come don't look good if I don't get some weight off.I know it's not a magic pill to cure all that  makes Me well but I need the help.I stoped going to the pool because I couldn't pull myself up as I was going up the step's.That is just no life.I alway's thought I would go before My Husband but I was left here for a reason,I've met someone and He love's Me Like I'am but I want to be more for Myself and Him.His only a year or so older than Me.His so sweet and willing to help how ever He can,I just want to give Him a good time too,do thing's together.I love Him so much and He has lost His first wife and They had 5children.All married and living doing o.k. and I have one son and so glad He won't have to watch His mom as she keeps on going down hill.So where ever I have it done,I'll make it.I have too My Love is My life.That's my story for now!!
