I have not always been big, but I do come from a big family.  I started gaining weight after I got a divorce in 2003.  Then I remarried in 2004 and have had 2 beautiful babies since then and gained more weight.  I am currently 215 lbs.  I got approved from my insurance for my lap band!  I start my pre-op diet this weekend!  I am really nervous and really excited about it!  I have been trying to decide if I was really going to get the lapband for about a year.  I finally made up my mind when we decided to go on vacation this May and I want to be able to walk around with my children.  I want to be able to wear a bikini to the pool and the beach.  I want to not get out of breath in 5 minutes.  I want to not be sweating while everybody else is freezing.  I want to be able to have a skinny pregnancy.  So I made up my mind!  The only person who can change my life is me!  It is time to take control!
