Started seriously investigating band surgery summer/fall 2009. Discussed with Primary care physician Oct 2009. She recommended me to Dr Kellum Nov 2009. Saw Dr Kellum Jan 21, 2010 for initial visit. Psychologist Olbrisch Feb 17, 2010. Insurance regs changed 2/15/2010 to require 1-year waiting period with weight loss coach.  Since I was already in-progress for approval, was allowed to submit paperwork within 30 day grace period. Started working with Weight loss coach 2/19/10, now required for those pre-and post-surgery.Surgery approved by insurance co 3/3/10. Received surgery date 3/4/10 and started liquid pre-op diet same day.Surgery 3/10/10, overnight 1 night in hospital. Off work 2.5 weeks. Back to work part-time Monday March 26.  Part-time approx 2 weeks, Back full-time 4/12/2010.Pain subsided each day, virtually gone by 3/16/10 but still tired, need to walk and exercise more each day to increase endurance.March 1, 2010 weight 267.  Surgery day weight  (6 days liquid diet) 256.
