I just finished my 4 pre-op appointments & am no awaiting a phone call from the surgeons office to schedule my procedure. I am so excited to begin my journey of discovering the "new me". My weight problem began in my mid-20's as a result of mulitple knee dislocations which forced me to stop living the active life my body & soul were accustomed to. The weight came on incredibly quick & over the years I became more and more sedintary. I am so ready to begin moving again. I miss so many things be it big or small. I look forward to being able to move more freely without having to find a close parking spot to the door, not having to worry if there will be a chair I can fit/sit comfortably in wherever I am going, shopping for fashionable clothes...the list goes on & on....Let my journey begin!
