I just started today on my ten-day pre-op diet and it definitely went a lot better than I had feared! I have a list from which I can choose 5 starch, 2 dairy, 2 Protein portions, plus 2-3 pieces of fruit and unlimited vegetables (except potatoes, parsnips and sweetcorn.) Tea, coffee and diet drinks are also unlimited.
