Banded last month, I'm 24!

I use Isopure low carb protein shake powder in chocolate, but they have many flavors. In the beginning it was hard, but you get used to it really quickly. You can find it at GNC and the last two time I purchased it, it only cost 45.00 for a huge container and if you don't like it after you open it up and try it, you have 90 days to return for a full refund.

So the day finally came! I got an email from my Surgeon's office, telling me that I was approved!!!!! I wanted to cry because I was so happy. I just had to tell people who know how hard it is, but it is all well worth it in the end. I am now waiting to hear about my surgery date. Does anyone recommend types of protein drinks/powders?

So I need someone's opinion on this matter. My sister and her boyfriend have been very unsupportive of me having the lap band. They both believe that I should just get up and exercise and everything will be alright, oh and they are also both really fit people. It is the most frustrating thing!!!! Has anyone had this kind of experience? and what should I do about it?

Hey! I know that this is a bit late, but my sister had surgery there (not lap band) and it was horrible! They ended up puncturing a hole in her esophagus and she was in the hospital for a couple of days. Come to find out my doctor in Huntington Beach told me that they already had a lawsuit against them from a woman for the same reason. My doctor told me that people should watch out for Fountain Valley Hospital.
