It dosen't really hurt to walk...mostly it hurts at my port site to get up off the chair or bend down. I slept pretty good last night...but I woke up at 6:30 in a lot of pain since I hadn't taken my pain meds since 7pm the night before. I took a dose and walked my daughter up the street 1/2 block to meet her friend to walk to school then went back to bed! Have slept in the recliner...it's better than lying flat....haven't tried that yet but I'm thinking it would hurt. The shoulder pain is trapped gas from the Co2 they put in your belly to blow it up to do the surgery. I have 4 small incision and one larger one where my port is. That's the only one that has really caused me any pain. the others itch. I'm not hungry...haven't been able to get in my 64 oz fluid today...have had about 1/2 of that. I just can't get much down! Hopefully tomorrow I can do more.
