Hi Jo Wow u go girl I,m so pleased for you only wish i could go then as well lol, but even if i wanted to i cant, my annual leave doesn't start again till april which is a real pain in the bum, but made sure i booked my week for april quick before everyone else started booking theirs, thats the problem with nursing they only allow two nurses and 1 sister to be off at the same time, which can be awkward when theres 16 of us lol but never mind im counting down the days and saving the pennies and it will hopefully come round really quickly, well hun u got my number so if u need a chat whilst ur there just ring me but let me know when u get ur date confirmed ooooh im so excited for u lol. Hi Jo Yes it would be a lot easier for me too, im also waitin on an insurance payout but as the driver who hit me was uninsured i now have to go through the mib which is going to take longer, it s so bloody annoying. I hope i didn't sound critical in that last post wasn't meant to be, I could have gone sooner if that was sorted, anyway if u do end up going in april maybe we can sort somethin out between us so that u wont have to worry about her so much, i sent u a pm with my number but also try ringing fred and find out they may accept credit card payments as long as its paid before u arrive for the op, its gotta be worth askin Julie x

Hi Jo I think so but u can always ask frederik if u can pay by credit card etc for deposit, i know theres a phone number but not sure if they take card payments, and yes do have to pay in cash i was a bit worried about that as well but apparently u can get 500 euro notes so wont be such a bundle so thats the only way he does it:sad: I understand what ur saying about being a single mom my only concern regarding ur daughter going is that ur in the hospital over night will she be ok on her own or is someone else going with u as well, just being a strange place for her, think my daughter would freak lol, if u want to text me i can answer your questions quicker that way just pm me and i'll give u my number, i know how u feel regarding the money its been a real struggle getting mine together too, but know it will be worth it in the long run. Hi Jo Lol thats so funny my daughters 16 and was saying the same to her today, yes u do have to pay a deposit through bank transfer of 500 euros then the rest night before op, its a pain dunno if ur bank is the same but i had to go into the branch fill in a form and sending it cost me 27 quid wasn't impressed lol so all in came to just under 500 pounds. Hi Jeanie I just booked up for op on 20/4/10 if u go direct it is cheaper than through an agent, 3800 euro for just the op or 4150 euro for the package, which i went for that includes ur op hotel and taxis from airport to hotel, both ways and to and from hospital before and after op u have to pay for ur flights seperatley, just make sure u book to brussels (BRU) for flights cause taxi from other airports will cost u more hope this helps Julie x

hi Jo if the questions are like he asked me i just answered them in an email and was approved i was a little worried as my bmi was 33 but he still accepted me thank god, oh if you got the same date as me that would be great we can be nervous together lol. I know how u feel though if i had the cash now id have booked in sooner a friend is helping me out so not so much to save before april now, my inner skinny is so excited to soon be set free lol Julie x

Hi Jo When i asked about dates i know he had quite a few in feb but like yourself i need to save a while so had to book mine for 20th april wish it could have been sooner, but never mind all good things come to those who wait, frederik normally replies very quickly so would imagine you would have an idea of dates by tomorrow morning, good luck Julie x

Hi garry I eventually found out lol im a bit thick dont travel much so all strange to me lol, I'm so excited now paying deposit tomorrow, and fred emailed to say im on the list for the 20th, still cant believe its happenin and without havin to do all those bank shifts:smile2: taken a big weight off me and able to take deal and pay extra for flights without having to save so much before going the skinny me cant wait to be set free julie x

hI CARRIEJESS that helps a lot but have a few other questions, first when going for the package deal is the cost for two people flying or does one have to pay seperatley, i know hotel is included and other thing is once the op is done do u have an x ray to make sure everything is where it should be as would feel a lot happier knowing before i left the hospital. i wish i could have it done tomorrow im so fed up of being fat now, u look amazing by the way well done i can understand u being happy with ur results juliex

Hi Garry no that price was just for op the package is 4150 not sure which will work out cheaper need to do a bit more research, as i read on here taxi from the airport can be 80 euros so wondering if it is such a gret deal, suppose it depends of time of year i go, oh well i'll start saving and just hope that the exchange rate goes up a bit, i think some extra bank shifts will have to be done to earn some extra. julie x

Hi thanks everyone for ur tips i had an email from frederick today he said i was able to have it done no mention of low bmi so really chuffed, problem now is finding the money lol, need to start saving quickly exchange rate is so bad and he gave me a price of 3800 euros, but am hoping to get it done around april may time julie xx
