Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor just getting started

Hi! I am 40 and have just booked my date for Nov. 18th. I would love a buddy to help keep me sane:) I am in North Carolina, married and the mother of 2. I currently weigh 261 (my goodness, I am not used to admitting that). I would appreciate any help!
