  3. I attended a seminer about 6 months back but talked myself out of it. I am going to see my doctor on Friday to get paper work from him to send in with the paper work the surgeon sent me to fill out and send back. thanks for all the replys. You all been a great help
  4. Yes at the weight loss place they kept track of my weight and BMI every 2 weeks. Also I was given a B12 shot twice a month. Also Chromium picolinate and something else that I cant really recall the name but it was something like phedamein.
  5. Thanks for the reply. When I lost 100lbs I went to a weight loss center for 7 months. Do you think they will take that as my 6 month diet needed for my insurance? Hope this is the case. But since it was over a year and a half they might not take that.
  6. About 2 years ago I lost over 100lbs but gained it right back plus more by going out friends and stay up late and eating. Never seen the weight coming back till it was to late. Will my insurance see this and deny me for it? I just thought of this and now I am thinking of not ever giving it a shot and getting my hopes up.
  7. I am just sending copys of everything and keeping the hard copys in case I need them. I am just trying to get a head start on everything and send copys of all the paper work into the doctor to try to get things started faster. If the doctor doesnt need it he can toss them but if he does I dont have to get it together later. When you were doing your paper work to get started did you need anything from any other doctor or anything else?
  8. As the title says I have some questions regarding any forms or paper work I can get together now before going into my first meeting for the doctor? I am about to send in a packet they had me fill out but I am also including: - A eating habit chart of this week. - A letter from my doctor with some blood tests they ran. - A letter from a weight loss center I went to for 7 months. - A letter from a physiological doctor. Is there any thing I could add to help speed things along? Did you send in other things that were not asked of you at the time? Any other information that could help speed things a long? Thanks for every ones help.
  9. Hello everyone my name is John. I am 24 years old and don’t know where else to turn. I have tried every pill, system, and diet out there since I was in middle school. I have always been a big kid but was always very active in sports but always stayed big. Middle school was the hardest with people picking on me but I was a very tough kid and never took it to heart. In high school I hovered around 250lb. The name calling got worse. I was still very active in sports. I took gym every day in high school even took it twice a day in 12th grade since I had all my credits. I was the caption of the Tennis team my last 2 years. I was always big but very quick for my size and I won many of matches since people thought I was a easy win because of my weight. College is where most of my problems started. I would work all day, go to class at night, eating fast food and going to bed. no time to stay active. This is where I broke the 300 mark and started to feel the health problems. At the end of college i weighted 330lb. After college I decided to take action and loss the weight before it was to late. I lost 100lb. in 7 months and felt great. Then I start to go out meet new people and having fun. This meant staying up late after work and not wanting to get up to go to the gym. This also led to eating out with friends late at night. I gained back everything I lost in the matter of 5 months. That’s 100lb. in 5 months and I never seen it coming. Its been about 2 years no since I gain my weight back and have been beating myself up over it. I even had to go seek help because I hate myself so much I though it would be better to (you know). My Aunt had the surgery about 8 months ago and she has lost almost 60lb. This got me thinking and this is why I am here to learn and to in the near future (I Hope) get the surgery myself.
