My story has just began. I decided to go for a consultation in November just to check it out, and learn more about the surgery itself. By the end of the appointment I had a checklist of things to do and had decided my surgery would be soon after the new year. It is now January 7th, and my surgery is on the 11th. Being a senior in college, only 21 years old, I am giving up the typical college lifestyle of going out and partying....but gaining so much more. My journey has just begun and I am ready to take control of my life.
