Hello, My name is Christie. I am new to this blog site. I am post op day 4, and I can tell you the pain is bearable and I feel really good. My face looks like I have lost some weight, but I will have to buy a scale to be sure. This is like having a new bike. So exciting, yet very scary.:tt1:

I was banded in Illinois by the Kane center. Dr. Kane was one of the founding fathers of the gastric bypass. They have a n excellent program located in Hoffman Estates, IL. The hospital linked with this surgery is Alexian Brothers Health Systems. They specialized a entire floor unit to bariatric patients. Could not have asked for better care.
