Hello,I am going to my pre certification meeting this evening. I am very excited as well as very nervous. I have mixed emotions regarding the surg. I feel like it is my last hope. I have tried alot of diets and failed each time. I can usually loose 10-40 pounds over 6 months, but I always gain it back plus more weight on top of it. I am very scared i will go through all of this and still not be able to conquor my old eating habits and will be weak. That is my biggest fear is to fail once again after going through such extreme measures. I also am worried after my surg. I am planning on having the lap band done. I have had several other surgeries before and vomit p to 48 hours after the surg. i do not do well with anesthia. I have heard that vomiting is bad. I would appreciate any helpful tips anybody has to offer and any good recepies for when you can go back on food.
