congratulations! You are doing great! The first 6 weeks sucks, no doubt about it. Once you get to mushies and eventually softer solids, you will be OK. it's all the soups and puddings that drove me crazy! do you drink protein shakes? My doc never recommended them but after coming to this site, I got started on the GNC Anabolic Extreme Whey protein shakes and I have one every day, it's like my coffee! You might want to try that if you aren't already doing something?
I started exercising about 2 months after surgery and wow, what a difference that has made. Now I can't stop and I feel bad when I have to miss it. I started with walking and did that for months until it got cold and now I'm doing other things too...it'll give you a jump start that's for sure!
