I started my weight gain at about age 31. I just got harder and harder to maintain my weight.  As I got older, I continued to gain weight. I became very uncomfortable and unhappy with myself.  Then I started to hear about the Lap-Band.  I know a couple people that have had the procedure and they now look great. I didn't really think about the hard work and sacrifices that would have to go into it until it got really close to my surgery date.  Well I now have had the Lap-Band Surgery and even though it is still going to be a battle, I am looking forward to feeling and looking my best!
