Hello i was banded on December 28 and im down almost 20 pounds including my 2 week fast pre op.This is awesome!!Im on my puree stage of my diet and im loving it.The first week was tough i wanted to feel something crunch in my mouth like chips. But the puree stage has been pretty good.i made tuna with lowfat mayo and blended it in my magic bullet and it was great.Refried beans and a little low fat cheese and a liitle gaucomole .Pretty pretty good.Let me explain how i got to this stage.I was an athlete as a teen.I played every sport under the sun.But i got older and stoped at which point i started gaing weight slowly.First i got close to 200 i said thats not to bad. Then 225,250,275 and then yikes i was at 296.Yuck.Iwas just about unable to shop at a regular department store for cloths. When finally i said enough.I didnt know how to eat properly and i was married to a wife who is a skinny beautiful and could eat whatever she wanted.Doesnt that suck.I tried working out and dieting it didnt work.I have kids and this past summer i would rush home from work to spend the evening on the couch watching t.v. and snacking.I had no energy to go outside and play with my own kids.No bike rides, baseball at the park ,walks no going to the park. When i did remove my ass from the couch the only thing i could think about was getting my ass back on the couch. How sad.To the hats not a quality of life. That sucked for my kids.So i made my mind up to do something about it.Now i cant wait until summer to do everything i missed the past year and half.Im looking forward to going to he pool and taking my shirt off.Im going to need some help and some support along the way.But im off to a great start and im ready to roll
