yea, i have to admit i am a little freaked out that maybe i messed up my band cuz i have been eating regular food since friday (1 wk post op). it started with a little piece of somethin and then out to eat with my ex and his family (who don't know). i was very careful to eat slowly, very small portions, and chew well but... i have absolutely no adverse reactions or feelings, no restriction, gas, or anything. i've been back to the gym, 45 min on the elliptical and 15 on the treadmill the last 2 days and i feel fine. but of course after reading everybody's posts i feel like maybe i screwed up and what if my band slips or erodes? they don't really give you symptoms or anything.
  6. I was self pay in Michigan, 17,900. I forget how many fills are included but my ck up visits to that doctor are free for life. I also had to pay 300 for a psych evaluation, yea! I'm not crazy! but I figure the amt of money I've spent on diet pills that work short term but make me scared I'm gonna have a heart attack long term should equal to be the same in the long run.

i did that but when i previewed it, it just showed up as the url and no pic. i tried the code for "your code" at top and the code in middle box. i'm not the most computer literate person.

there was one at the bariatric clinic but i don't think she was familiar with vegetarian issues. also i hate anything sugar free that stuff causes brain cancer. and after reading all these posts i freaked cuz i've been doing the zone shakes twice a day and just realized how much sugar and carbs it has. oh no.

I am glad to hear some people didn't have to do the weeks of liquid, i was supposed to do a one week liquid diet but felt like crap so it went one day liquid one day food. Is there anyone else that has had this and is a vegetarian. I am really having problems coming up with as much protein as needed, esp doing the 2 wk post op liquid diet. (which i have been very good) although i have been experiencing shooting pains from my shoulder into my neck, the doctor said if it gets worse to go to the er. oh and i want one of those cute little count down things!

I was banded on the 14th and i thought staying in the hospital a night was great, they have that sweet little button that you push and everything feels better
