So glad to see this thread! My current BMI is 36 but I have HTN, Pre-DM and PCOS. I am hoping and praying that my insurance will approve lap banding for me. This thread has been very encouraging, thank you! -

I just wanted to offer encouragement. I too have PCOS and I wonder if that is the reason I cannot get the weight off. I know that it sure doesn't help matters. Anyway, best of luck to you and welcome to the US!
