DH and I started the process Jan 2009.  After jumping through hoops for Aetna and HCA (my employer), we were approved in Nov.  DH did gastric bypass (RNY) on his birthday, Dec 9th.  I did LapBand on Dec 30th.  He is doing very well and not having any problems.  I'm still a fresh post-op and having gas in my shoulders and chest.  No nausea or vomiting.  I'm on full liquids until next Wed.  DH has a lot of weight related health problems.  Mine are just starting, so I wanted to prevent future problems.  We are looking forward to a happy, healthy 2010!
