Hello all! I've lurked here a few weeks while contemplating my options. I'm now schedule for banding with Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta on Oct. 27th. I'm slightly nervous but more excited. I look forward to sharing the journey with you fine folks.:clap2:

and I'm getting very excited. I start my liquid diet the day after tomorrow for 10 days total. I did a liquid diet for six months a few years ago, so I know what to expect. At this point I'm excited about starting this journey. I'm sure I'll have bad days but at least feel like I'm moving my life forward, which will feel great! Good luck to this week's bandsters!

Thanks for all the great support. Yes, I've heard tremendous things about Dr. Curry. I'm lucky, he's about 10 minutes from me. I haven't contacted his office yet but will soon to let them know that I'll soon be a "Mexican Bandster" looking for a fill doctor. How much does he charge per fill? Does he do the fills there at Deaconess?
