i get my fill on the 20th. right now i dont have fluid just the lapband. i feel like im just sitting still and not losing weight like everyone else.

That is great you join a support group. I wish I could find one to join tool. I'm getting my 1st fill today, I have 2.5cc from surgery I wonder what the doctor will put in for me today. will keep u posted.

Hello Regine, Hows things going for you? I started going to a new weightloss support group at a local hospital. It is great. I realized that alot of feelings I am having is just normal for new weightloss patients. They are so supportive and helpful. I plan going each month. I get my first fill May 20th. I am looking forward to it, I dont have much restriction at this point. I have started keeping a better food journal and the weight has been coming off again. Its shocking how unhealthy I have eaten in the past now that I check all the cal, carb, and protiens in foods. This is defiately not easy like others think

I'm sorry you don't have much support but you need to stay focus on your goal. The people around can not be supportive to your goal because it's not theirs, just keep that in mind. I live alone so I don't have much temptation from others. I do have a lot of craving and eating behavior when I'm stressed and bored. Overall weight loss is a struggle no matter what.

im doing better everyday. How about you? I kind of feel lost on this journey. Im starting to see a change in my body, I actually can wear my old to small clothes that i put away over a year ago. thats a great feeling. I feel like i need a partner through this. My family is not that supportive. they want me to go out to eat with them and eat junk in front of me, that makes it really hard for me. Where do you live.. hey, the soreness for me went away after about 2 wks unless i move sideways. i was banded on march 30,10 so i am still new at this. i wish you success and happy re birthday. margie
