my surgeon asks that you not smoke for one week before surgery- he also said that if you couldnt quit, at least cut back to 5 or less cigs a day. Thats what I did and everything went fine. -
I was banded by Dr. Redmann (same group), I lost 24 lbs with little effort, but I am not really filled yet. I only had 2 fill appts so far, but still it was pretty easy so far

Hi. I was banded in Covington too. I just had it done 4 days ago by Dr Lavin with Surgical Specialists of La. Hows it going so far for you? Glad to see someone else from La on here!
