  3. congratulations!! I too had my post op on tuesday and was moved up to stage 3 foods!! and my first fill will be next month and talking about weight....I weighed my self at home and weighed in at 246..but when I went and got weighed I weighed 251...I did have a yogurt before I went in....she said maybe thats what made the weight differnce...now Im realizing that our scales are totally different!..but hey I lose 12 lbs.....so im soo proud of my self!!!!!!!! I cant wait to get to stage 4 foods and eat salads tooo....im soooo jealous of you!!!!!! I was banded on 1/7/2010....so we in the same boat!!!! and I truly hope that when aunt flow comes its not as bad as you say!!!!

    sunflower seeds?

    thanks guys!! I will talk to my doctor this tuesday....Im doing very will with my full liquides...making my creamy soups yummer so that Im not so hunger..hopefully the doctor will allow me to eat them cuz that was like my favorite snack!!
  5. Hello I had a question,..does anyone know if its bad to eat sunflower seeds...you know the kind where you crack the shell in your mouth and eat the seed?? I loved eating them as a snack before my lap-band...but I dont know if it will affect my diet..Im 8 days post op!? thanks :w00t:

    Weighing Yourself?

    I am very proud of my self...I did not weigh myself today!!! my scale in in the closet and I wont take it out until next week
  7. I am going to go shopping today and buy the basics I need to do most of the reciepts..I cant wait till next week when I can start eating at stage 3 and eat soft foods! for now some of those creamy soups are looking soo good!!
  8. Well im starting week 2 and I am on the full liquids..but next week i will be able to start on stage 3 foods...I like the ones with eggs ,, and most of the soups!! most of them look soo good....I cant wait to be able to eat good nutricious foods and still loose the weight!!

  11. thanks alot guys!!!!!!! i feel much better now!! and I did take the scale out of the bathroom and into a closet!!...I also realized that I need be carefull of what I eat... I am trying to eat what I was told when I was released..Kaiser did give me a good information booklet! so Im just being paranoid...

    Weighing Yourself?

    today is my one week post op..and I have been weighing myself every single day...this is bad since now Im kinda depressed and down because I have only lost 6 lbs..and today when I weighed myself I had gained 1 lb...so Im feeling very bad....maybe when I get the fill I will be loosing more weight....I will be trying to weigh my self once a week to see if that does a better differnce

Yes.....well most of it..Im having my protein shake once a day and I yesteday I blended 1/2 a potato with a small chicken thigh...and had that for lunch...Im also having jello and pudding and yogurt... its all low fat!!.. my second meal before leaving the hospital was tapioca pudding..cottage cheese and jello... may be i should just be having all liquids..
  14. Hello Im now ending my 1st week post op...and I know I know Ive been weighing my self everysingle day..and on the day of my lap band I weighed 257...the first day I came back I weighed 251 today my weight was 253...now Im getting frustraded....am I doing something wrong?

    Hello my banded friends..well Im feeling very good today...just took out the bandages per doctors orders and left the strips!! ive been good with my diet...just having broth protien shakes and water...today I had a potatoe soup....im just trying to invent what else to eat these next weeks before Im alowed to eat solids!! sooo how are you guys doing??:thumbup:
