    I am doing great. I did not start eating solid food until today. My doctor had me moving slowly week to week. However, I have seen other diets based on the doctor who did the surgery. I have my first appt. on 1/15, so we will see if I get my first adjustment. Eating has not been hard, I have been able to tolerate almost everything, except for the occasion gas.

    Anyone have surgery recently

    I just had surgery on 12/18 and was looking to check in with others who may have had surgery recently. Just want to see how you are doing and provide each other support. I seem to doing ok. I am not feeling too hungry in the second week, however I was feeling hungry during the first week. The only trouble I seem to be having is getting in all the protein shakes. I am tired of drinking them, no matter how much I try to doctor them up. Anyone have any advice.
  4. Hi Everyone, I had surgery on Dec. 18th. I had surgery in Houston, TX. I have been doing pretty well, I did how gas pains through the entire left side of my body for about 5 days. It has gotten better with time. I was getting hungry by day 4, but once I entered into the thick liquids and pureed foods I have been doing well and not feeling hungry at all. My biggest challenge has been trying to down the Protein shakes to get all the protein I need. I have not felt nausea at all, but trying to down the Protein Shakes makes a bit nausea. Does anyone have any advice? I have lost since my pre-op to now a total of 12lbs. I'm not sure if this is going slow, but I am glad for any little bit.
