I personally don't like baby food but it's fine if you stick to the whole fruit and veggie ones. Don't buy the dessert ones. Any of them that say medley have added sugars.

I'm using Vitafusion Gummy chewables. I can't stand anything that's powdery like Centrum or Flintstones.

I'm with you. I start pureed on Tuesday. I was supposed to start tomorrow but since my follow up appt isn't until Tuesday they said to wait until then. I'm so ready for something other than liquified Soup.

It's on my list also but it does state that it's not the greatest source of protein.

My doctor says it can. I've never noticed a difference no matter what I weigh though. I lost 45 pounds and made my worse instead of better.

Do you guys have any port pain yet? OMG! I do. Sometimes it's not too bad but sometimes it's so sharp it's terrible.

I had to come back and read over this thread. I'm having port pain also. It's always there but sometimes it's rather sharp if I turn the wrong way. I'll be glad when it passes.

Pickle pops guys. Freeze the pickle juice. It tastes just as good and lasts much longer.

I've been burping a lot since I got banded but today is the worst. Constant burping and belching like you would get with indigestion. Is there anything that will help it?

How in the world do you stay regular after being banded? I used to use Phillips Capsules- I can't stand the liquid but that's not an option now. Any recs for me?

I'm curious. How many months/or fills did it take you to get restriction after your surgery? My first post op visit is on Tuesday I plan to ask then how much my first fill will be.

Well I lost weight before on my own and at 175 I didn't need mine anymore. That was about a 55 pound loss for me. I'm looking forward to getting rid of it again. I hate that thing.

The majority of my incisions and my port are on the left side. My side is still too sore to lay on:(

I've been eating a 1/2 cup and then waiting a while and having another 1/2 cup. I found it easier to blend the soup to liquid rather than straining it. It actually tastes better too. You still get all the taste of the soup instead of just the broth.

I have 4 small incisions and then one that is around 1 inch long. When they put the Dermabond on the big one they did a really sloppy job. One side of it dried up hard and thick but it wasn't attached to my skin. Now it got caught on my nightgown lastnight and it's started peeling back. You can't see my wound but you can see a little clear Fluid like Water that oozes out from under the Dermabond. I'm guessing this is okay huh? I have one incision that they got Dermabond all around the incision but NONE on the actual incision:( I guess they were in a big hurry. There are stitches underneath so it's not long it's going to come open I just don't want it getting infected or anything.
