    Those of you on solids- What are you eating at Breakfast time to get your Protein in? I've never liked eggs and bacon so I've been drinking Protein shakes instead even though my doc said NO liquid calories. What are you guys eating?

    Wow I'm glad I read this thread. At least I know what might happen to my band now. I have a 9 year old son with ADHD and a 3 year old daughter with ADHD. I can't even imagine what they will be like as teens. I also have a 5 month old but right now he's sweet and cuddly and is no problem.

    I have this pain that comes and goes. It's around my port and it really feels like a gas pain. It will last 2-3 days when it comes on. Why is that and what can I do for it?

    I have to say that I agree with this also. I drank lots and lots and lots of Water before any of my weigh ins. I also wore jeans and sneakers rather than capris and sandals. It won't take much to add just 1 BMI point. Good luck

    I'd go ahead and call your gyno. 3 years ago I started dieting and lost 40 pounds. My cycle got very irregular and my Gyno said it should have been more regular and not less regular. It lasted 2 weeks out of every month.

    I just bought children's generic advil and Tylenol. My surgeon actually recommended liquid Advil over Tylenol.

    I'm great right now. Back on solid foods and feeling good. Having a hysterectomy next week though. I'm sure that will set me back some.

    I'm having a hysterectomy next week and my surgeon's nurse told me that if I have any post op vomiting to immediately let my Ob/Gyn or my surgeon know so that I can get put on meds to stop it. She said they don't want me throwing up at all. Is this just b/c my band is new or what? I mean if you get a stomach virus are you still supposed to take meds instead of throwing up?

    I do and before surgery I would drink 3 good size cups of every morning. Now I'm drinking just one cup a day and I'm finding that's all I really need. My surgeon says coffee is fine but I know some are totally against it. How many of you still drink it daily?

    LOL! How do you drink all that? What I mean is I was told that once I get restriction I probably wouldn't be able to continue drinking my 3 cups a day. So are you able to drink that much without it interfering with your eating?

    This!! I had a reaction to the Dermabond. I itched like mad until I got it all off and started using cortizone and taking Benadryl. I'd call your surgeon and let him know and see what he says.

    Take some Miralax. That's what I've been using and it works great. Just do it once a day until you are feeling better again.

    So my surgeon said the only fluid in my band is what's put there to PRIME it for surgery. How much is that? I'm having a hysterectomy next week and my Ob/Gyn said the band has to be TOTALLY EMPTY before surgery. I guess I'll call tomorrow and see if the nurse knows.

    See that's what's weird to me. My stomach still feels hungry but I can feel the food in my throat. It's odd. Especially since I don't have heartburn, pain or any nausea with it.
