LOL at the flat tires!! If I were you I think I'd look for a new doctor. This is a journey and you need someone who is supportive and knows what they are doing to help you through it. Your doing great on your loss but a fill would help take away that hunger.

Yep you can do it!!! Once I got some restriction with my first fill the weight started coming right off.

So how many fills have you had so far? Do you get the reflux every time? It's annoying to me but since it's happened each time I'm guessing it's just a normal side effect, right?

I had mine done about 5 weeks ago with no problems. I think you should get a new stylist. Having your hair done is supposed to be relaxing. My stylist is banded also. She's really inspiring to me and we have a lot to talk about now.

Okay guys I got 1 cc added today for a total of 5 cc's. I've lost 8 pounds in the last 4 weeks!!! Afterwards I went shopping and got some new, smaller jeans!! I went to Old Navy. They are offering an additional 40% off all clearance prices so I got my jeans for $11.00 a pair and some shirts for $5.00 a piece! Can't beat that!

I know there is a mental health board here but it doesn't seem to be very popular so I have a question. I've been very happy on Prozac 40 mg for a year now. I have depression and anxiety. Anyway the last 3 weeks I've been tired, sleeping a lot, irritable, sad and I'm worrying a bit more than normal. I also have little to no patience with my kids. Nothing else has changed in my life. Do you think this is a phase or is time to go back to the doctor now? Thanks for any advice!

Personally I picked the band b/c it's less invasive BUT if I ever have problems with it then I will do the sleeve also. Some times I wish I had done it to start with but it requires more down time and I have 3 kids at home so I couldn't afford much down time.

you are right about that! I just read an article yesterday I think it was in Family Circle. Anyway this lady had gastric bypass and lost 80 pounds then gained it all back and then some. A couple of years later she decided she really was ready to lose weight so she started eating better and working out daily and lost it all. She said she just wasn't ready the first time around so she didn't use her surgery correctly.

I need some new ones both tops and jeans. Where do you ladies shop at? Most of what I find lately are tops that are so thin and sheer they show every little fat roll I have and then jeans that are so stretchy that they fit perfect for the first hour and then after that they are saggy, baggy and falling off of me. Any tips on where to find some good thick shirts and some jeans with little to no stretch in them?

I LOVE Belk but I can get into trouble there easily:) The other day for example I found a shirt I really liked but it was $36 and it was just a cotton shirt. I actually have some of those shirts from Wal Mart and you are right they run small but they fit good. I'm going to Old Navy today after my fill appointment to check their clearance racks.

Going for my second fill today. SOOOO happy!!

LOL!! I here those stories too and wouldn't you know it's my overweight friends that are telling them. I think they are either scared or jealous or maybe even both.

Monday morning I had Protein for Breakfast. I had a leftover pork chop:) Weird breakfast I know but it was lean and I don't really like bacon and eggs. I was good till 1 pm with this. Yesterday I had oatmeal and I was ready for lunch by 11 am. So I guess I need to focus on protein for breakfast. What do you guys eat everyday for breakfast?

I was told by my surgeon to do this WHEN I stall. He said it's a great way to get your weight going down again.

Yep I did and even though they left my ovaries my Ob/Gyn did say that they can and usually do shut down for a while after a hysterectomy. I have an appointment for my second fill tomorrow so I'm hoping my family doc can see me after that.

I take several meds daily so I actually put them together in a daily med box, 7 days at a time that way I'm sure I don't miss anything.

Thanks ladies! I will call first thing tomorrow and see if they have an appt open this week. I'm not sure how much longer I can take this:(

LOL! Pulling won't cause anything major but it may hurt to pull on it since it's still attached to the inside of the incision. That's the only reason I said not to pull:)

It's fine. Just leave it alone and don't pull on the thread. It will eventually dissolve on the inside and fall out.

No regrets here either. My pain was very minimal. I only took Advil for it. I really don't feel deprived since my appetite is controlled.
