    Protein Shakes

I agree the Syntrax is awesome! You can call there 800 number and get the samples. I think I paid around $11 for mine and there were a BUNCH of different flavors.
  3. I was able to eat some grilled chicken for supper. I had almost a whole leg quarter minus the skin and then I got full. It went down good with no pain so hopefully I'm good now. When I called my surgeon on Wednesday I thought I was too tight but he thought it was just swelling. I'm supposed to call again on Monday and let them know how I'm feeling.
  4. I'm on a combo of Prozac and Wellbutrin. I haven't gained weight from either of them.
  5. They are extended release so they can't be cut in half. I hope your feeling better soon.

    Bump

Is it liquid filled? If it is it's a blister and should go away in a few days. Try rinsing with warm salt Water 3-4 times a day. That will help dry it up faster.
  7. Okay guys I have arthritis in my knees. I was taking Tylenol Arthritis Pain for it and it worked wonders. Now my band is too tight to swallow them though:( Suggestions on what else I can try?

    Lots of burping anyone?

Oh yes I get the dreaded hiccups also! My one year old thinks it's hilarious
  9. Since my last fill I've noticed some of my pain is from all this air/gas or whatever it is in my esophagus. When I swallow it's like the food is pressing against the air and it's uncomfortable until I burp. Is that normal?
  10. I'm so confused:( I got a .2 cc fill last Tuesday. I did great until Sunday and something got partially stuck- It happened after taking my medications so I'm assuming it was one of my pills. Anyway I threw up everything I ate and drink for about 4 hours and then suddenly everything was fine and I was able to eat again. For the past 2 days I've been fine with no vomiting but everything I eat hurts when it goes down. What gives? I can't even tell when I'm full anymore because everything hurts. Should I go back to liquids for a few days and then slowly advance to solids and see if that helps? Is the pain because I'm too tight or just because I'm swollen or not chewing enough? I eat a little, have pain, stop eating, then bam 2 hours later my stomach's growling and I'm starving again. But If I eat then I have pain everytime I swallow my food so I just stop. Now I'm just discouraged:(
  11. I'm good now but I'm still on liquids.

    Lots of burping anyone?

So how far out from surgery are you ladies? I'm 8 months out. The burping has gotten stronger for more as my fill level has gone up.
  14. Called my doc today and he thinks my pill did get stuck on Sunday and it irritated my band. He put me on liquids for the next few days and then I get to slowly add solids back.

    Today was the day

The spray tan is the Betadine they use to clean your stomach first. Glad to hear your doing well. Congratulations!!
  16. After my fill I did liquids for 24 hours then mushies for the next 24 and then solids. That's how my doc does things. I haven't called him about the pain yet because, and yes I know this is stupid, I'm afraid he'll want to unfill me and he'll take out too much. He already thinks I don't need to lose much more weight as it is.

    hurt when eating

I'm having the same problem. Everything I eat is painful lately:(
  18. I'm not sure. I guess I'm going to make an appointment and find out. At least now when I sweat people don't think it's because I'm just fat, you know?
  19. I remember you also. Congratulations on the baby boy and the weight:) So excited and happy for you:)
  20. On Tuesday I got a tiny fill of .2 cc's. I stayed on liquids and then mushies and then on Friday I tried real food. I had no problems. Yesterday I ate real food and even ate out at supper with no problems. This morning I drank my coffee and took my meds- 9 pills total- no problem. Then at noon I tried to eat some Greek Yogurt. I ate it slowly. It took almost 40 minutes to finish it and it got stuck. I threw it up. Now when I drink I can feel my liquids trickling down and If I take a big drink rather than a sip it feels like it's going to come back up. I burp a lot and then it will finally go down. What's the deal? I swallowed my pills this morning with no issues so what's going on now? Is it possible I irritated my band by swallowing the pills? They were all small except for 2 and those 2 were gelcaps.
  21. I guess maybe one of my pills was stuck and I just didn't realize it. I started drinking warm tea and by the third cup I was feeling much better and everything I drink goes down just fine now. I've never had that happen before, ever.
  22. I'm hungry so I just tried a few spoonfuls of chicken and stars Soup. I stayed away from the chicken and just ate the mushy stuff-pasta and carrots. After 5 bites I got that stuck pain in my chest and it all came back up:( I'm going to try some liquid Motrin and make some warm tea and see how that goes.
  23. Liquids in= liquids out so the diarrhea is normal. Try taking a sitz bath or using some sort of diaper rash cream for the soreness.
  24. My tubes were tied when I had mine done so no birth control to worry with. I didn't have to do the shots though.
  25. Well as for weight loss your doing awesome! I do hope you get to feeling better though and nothing is wrong with your band.
