  1. BEFORE Now I just realized it's been 1 year today:) I've gone from a size 20 to a size 8! I can't believe it:) I'm still learning some things and I definitely need to exercise more but I'm blown away with my results.

    Congratulations!! I know exactly what you mean. I've lost more than my 4 year old weighs and yet, I can't even tote her around, she's too heavy. I can't believe I was toting all that extra weight around every day.

    not losing pounds

    It's not that muscle WEIGHS more than fat, it weighs the same. A pound is a pound no matter what. A pound of muscle takes up less space then a pound of fat which equals inches lost.
  9. Thanks everyone:) I've lost almost as much as my 10 year old son weighs. Can you imagine that? It sounds like even more when you think of it that way:)

    Yes. I haven't lost a lot pound wise in the past 2 months but I've gone down a whole pant size and a shirt size.

  13. Oh no! I'm definitely not a computer tech but that sounds bad:( hopefully someone can help you. When I have PC issues I post at computerhope.com there are some brilliant members there that are always ready to help.

  15. I actually got restriction with my first fill. I was amazed by it.
  16. Does it matter what kind of Protein we are using? I got a free sample of that Visalus shake mix. It said it tastes like cake batter so I thought I'd try it. It really does. It's really good. The only two issues are it is SOY Protein and it only has 12 grams of protein which isn't really enough. It has 5 grams of Fiber per serving though and that seems to help me stay full longer. If you add skim milk to it then that increases your protein but I normally use Almond milk and that doesn't help the protein levels at all. I'm trying to decide if I want to order a pack of this or if I would get the same benefit from adding Benefiber to a shake made with Muscle Milk Light Cake Batter. Any thoughts?

  18. Yesterday I had an appointment with a psychiatrist. He was in a building with like 30 other doctors. So I'm looking for his office and watching all the signs and this lady looks at me and says, Are you here for Dr. X? I didn't want her to know I was there to see the Pscyh so I said yeah I am. She points me in Dr. X's direction and I walk that way hoping to find where I really need to be. As I'm walking I glance up and see Dr. X's office door. It says he's a weight loss doctor and you can get 3 weight loss injections for $35. I was like, What the heck? I know I don't still look that overweight. LOL It turns out the doc I was really looking for was right down the hall from Dr. X but I wondered why she would assume I was there for weight loss. There were 6 docs in that one area. LOL
  19. My surgeon ALWAYS removes all the fluid at every fill and then puts it back in. That's the only way they can tell if you have a leak or not.
  20. I saw a psychiatrist for the first time yesterday. He started me on some new meds and gave me some journaling things to do that should help me. He also made me realize that rather I'm depressed or not I'm still in control. I just need to get ahold on myself and get rid of my bad eating habits. He also stressed how important daily exercise is for my depression. Hopefully I can start changing some things now.
  21. How many of you have depression? I do and I have had it since I was 18. Mine sort of cycles though. I have a few good weeks, and then a few weeks where I'm really really depressed. I've been on meds but none of them seem to work all that well. Tomorrow I have an appt with a Psychiatrist because my GP thinks I'm actually Bipolar and not just depressed. Anyway the point to all this is, when I'm depressed I crave bad things like sugar and I eat too many calories and too much junk because I just lose my mental focus. I wish I could stop this or snap out of it:(
