    60 days post op

You need to call your doc, this is NOT normal! Occasional nausea is fairly normal but the rest of what you said is concerning.

    Wanna see what was removed?

Belly buttons aren't supposed to be by your thighs?!?!? What?!?!?!?

    Wanna see what was removed?

    Holy crap! You gave birth!!!!!
  10. So obviously you don't want to hear this but the truth is that you can't compare your loss to others. Well, I mean you can, but it will make you crazy. Everyone loses at their own rate. If you are following your program you will lose weight. You will! the body cannot survive off the amount of calories that we consume and not use the reserves (fat) for long. You are doing fine. The amount that you've lost in the time that you've lost it is totally and completely appropriate. You've got a long road to get to goal. I know it's hard, but try not to obsess about the number on the scale. Watch it, use it as a guide to make sure you're headed the right way, but try not to live and die by what the scale says each day. It will make you insane! Follow your plan, you will be fine.

    Wanna see what was removed?

Yay for you!!! Did they by chance tell you how much it weighed? Just curious!! (And like someone above said, it doesn't look like that much, I'm sure it feels like a ton gone though!)

    Just One

I know I'm cheating but #2 is that having an RNY is sometimes a pain in the butt....I don't regret it one bit but dammit I'd love an ice cream cone.... HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 200.6

Be realistic in your expectations!!!! People expecting to lose 120 pounds in 6 months, or a pound a day for long periods....yes it happens to some people, yes it may happen to you occasional but don't expect it. Weightless is not a race. And truly, the journey and discovering our new selves can be a heck of a lot of fun if we embrace the journey (ups and downs) instead of just wanting to be at the end. Goals are awesome, but getting there can be awesome too. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 200.6

    How about some NSVs!?!?

I ran by a friends house this evening to pick something up, we'd just left from swimming at another friends house, I'm still in a bathing suit. Friend 2 opened the door, looked at ME IN A BATHING SUIT and said 'well crap, that makes me jealous' I was speechless that anyone was jealous of ME IN A BATHING SUIT!!!! I am totally stoked! soreness in legs 8 days post op

There's a lot going on that could cause muscle/leg aches. Decreased mobility, decreased Water, decreased nutrients, etc. that said I do recommend calling your surgeon. You did just have major surgery and blood clots are one of the risks associated with it. It's probably not that, but if it is then it's an emergency situation and needs to be addressed immediately (and yes you can get clots in booth legs, it's not as common but is possible). Good luck!!!!

    Big Butt anyone?
